‘ReFraming’ (2026)
For the artist, the image of a face is an excellent medium that reflects emotions and gives an excuse to reflect on universal human features that remain unchanged regardless of time or cultural context.
Through photographic play - references to painting and non-obvious combinations of styling elements, pop art artifacts with the use of everyday materials and objects, including biodegradable and non-ecological materials - Zamoyski explores the idea of humanism as an unchanging value, independent of time and cultural context. The project is always implemented through "objects" - individual photographs in the form of prints, processed and framed. Only contact with this form at the same time complemented by a performative element in the form of the "presence" of models and artists and the completion of the viewer's aesthetic experience in accordance with the concepts of "open work" will constitute the completion of the process.
A series of portraits has been presented during the exhibition at the Jaskółka Gallery in 2026.
‘Her/Hair’ (2025)
Norblin Factory, Warsaw 2024
The series of portraits of women that constitute the subject of the exhibition “HER/HAIR” was re-inspired by the events in Iran in 2017 and the act of civil disobedience of iranian woman Vida Movahed, who waved a white headscarf as a sign of protest against violence: cultural, personal, economic.
Hair is a form of aesthetic, cultural, political expression and oppression also in Euro-Atlantic culture. The 18th century abandonment of wigs, indirectly due to their taxation, the activism of suffragettes and flappers expressed aesthetically in the symbolism of short haircuts, the cutting of the braid in Frida Kahlo's self-portrait communicating liberation from her relationship with Diego Rivera, the shaving of the heads of women considered collaborators on the streets of post-war Europe, or the aesthetic affirmation of the Afro hairstyle, which was the self-definition of African-American women in the 1960s. The requirements of pop culture and convention are something that also regulates the attitudes of contemporary women. The process of styling, modeling, extending, is often an inconvenient element of everyday life, and occasionally a reason to depreciate lifestyle and Zeitgeist, and in another sense, a testimony of belonging to the surrounding community.
The exhibition has been presented in Norblin Factory in Warsaw in 2025.
‘Conversations’ (2024)
"Portrait photography is, for me, in its most important dimension, above all a conversation. A conversation with a person and human beauty - body, mind, soul. In my work I try to capture those moments in which this conversation becomes a chat - informal, eloquent, intimate. Usually - without words; through the energy that is immortalized"
6th Floor Theatre, Warsaw 2024
The CONVERSATIONS series presented at the exhibition in the 6th Floor Theatre refers to the words of the photographer in a form that allows for the free recording of events. In the small, intimate space of the photography studio, it is a record of meetings with actors, artists, people of culture and art - the world of creators, and a joint game with context and form. Following the inspirations flowing from classical photography to off-stage play and joy.
The exhibition has been presented at the 6th Floor Theatre in 2024.
