The Baron
Jacek Poniedziałek/ Nowy Teatr

a session inspired by the performance of "The French" theatre play directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski, with costumes by Małogrzata Szczęśniak and produced by artists of the Nowy Teatr in Warsaw. The character of Baron de Charlus, played by Jacek Poniedziełek, reflects the motives of the transient contemporary time, a falling Europe, in part as a reminiscence of themes from the novel "in search of the lost time" by Marcel Proust, on which the dramaturgy of the performance is built. at the same time, through a direct reference to the fashion icon - Karl Lagerferd - is an emanation of post-modernity, aesthetics and symbolism present in the sphere of pop culture of the next fin de siecle cult of the 20th century.
